First and foremost, we are employment lawyers with decades of experience and a track record of success.
We have done it. Theresia's team has stood up in courtrooms across the country for companies such as Target Stores, Wal-Mart & Sam’s Club, IBM, Bank of America, Cumulus Media, Hilton Worldwide, Verizon Communications, ARAMARK, General Electric, AstraZeneca, Bridgestone/Firestone, and Lennar. We are just as honored to serve other employers that may not (yet) be household names.
Litigation is too late. A client sitting next to us in court has already lost. Lost time and money that should be dedicated to meeting business goals. We keep our clients out of court by obtaining settlement leverage at the demand letter or administrative charge stage. To prevent conflict with employees in the first place, we provide workable multi-state policies and sensible practices that avoid litigation.
Small is the new big. Everyone, big or small, wants to innovate, and being smaller is an advantage when counseling larger employers. It allows for different approaches, custom solutions, and fresh ideas. This difference in perspective helps us identify simple solutions to complex matters. Our model simultaneously allows us to handle a volume of work, including class litigation. We have long-standing relationships with a battalion of experienced Of Counsel throughout the country and do not have the overhead that has historically been passed on to the client.
Our bench is deep. Though we are based out of Atlanta and San Francisco, many of our nationwide clients count on us to defend their legal rights and business reputations in courtrooms across the country. We have an extensive network of counsel whom we tap to advise on local rules and political nuances, enabling us to focus on strategy and consistent protection of the brand. Instead of managing multiple providers, some clients ask us to coordinate litigation strategy and discovery nationwide.
Valuing diversity. Several clients see working with us as an opportunity to deepen their commitment to employment diversity by supporting businesses that are historically underrepresented in corporate America. With certification as a Woman-Owned Business, we also qualify as a diversity supplier for companies that invest in formal initiatives to be an inclusive vendor.
